Udayan Jain
Udayan Jain, Vice President of Finance of Arihanta Academy, considers himself, first and foremost, a life-long student of Jain dharma and it’s philosophy. He enjoys studying, reading, thinking about the principles of Jain dharma through which he hopes to slowly progress, inch-by-inch, in the true path paved by Lord Mahavir and his disciple Shrimad Rajchandra. He is a Trustee of Shri Sanatan Jain Dharma Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram, Agas.
Udayan has a vibrant professional career as a Chief Financial Officer of Vonage – SaaS segment and was instrumental in its successful acquisition by Ericsson for over $6 billion. Udayan has been a long time investor in the Technology sector, both in the US and India. Previously, Udayan was Managing Director at Infrastructure Growth Capital and also held senior roles at venture capital firms General Atlantic and Morgan Stanley Venture Partners.
Udayan is also a Board member of Vonage Foundation, a global charitable organization dedicated to the advancement of global connectivity that oftentimes is elusive for those that live, learn and work in underserved and rural communities. We work to bridge the digital divide by using technology to unlock innovation and drive creative minds with grants for curriculum, research, technical advancements, knowledge sharing and financial support.
Besides work and his passion for Jain philosophy and other charitable causes, Udayan enjoys playing tennis and golf. He is a doting father of two girls and currently resides in New Jersey.
